The city is growing. We're growing with it.
Almere-Buiten has changed in ten years. More families, more older residents, more people who bought their first home here. At the same time, fewer dentists still had room for new patients. We noticed it in our waiting list: patients from the Bouwmeester and Eilandenbuurt travelling to Poort every six months, because their own practice had closed its registration years ago.
A second practice was never a goal in itself; it became an answer to the waiting list. We looked for a place that doesn't feel like a dental factory, close to the neighbourhoods where many of our patients already live.
That place became Gezondheidscentrum De Bouwmeester. We've been open here since January 2026. The same team, the same way of working. For those who already know us: only your travel time changes.

The practice
In the heart of
the Bouwmeesterbuurt.
Gezondheidscentrum De Bouwmeester stands at M.J. Granpré Molièrestraat 2, within walking distance of Almere Buiten station. Several primary-care disciplines work under the same roof.
We set up the new practice on the same principles as Poort: a spacious waiting area, two treatment rooms, our own intake room. Ground floor, wheelchair accessible.

In Buiten you're treated by the same dentists, hygienists and assistants as in Poort. We rotate between the two locations, so you'll see familiar faces in both.
The practice owners are Amir Aghagalal (BIG 69914278402) and Rianne van Vlastuin-Aghagalal, for both locations. Reception and scheduling run through one team: one number (036 22 22 333) for both practices.

Five minutes from the Hogering. Free parking in front of the health centre, no time limit. Drop-off spaces for less mobile patients right by the entrance.

Bus 153 stops a two-minute walk away, at the De Bouwmeester stop. Almere Buiten station is four minutes by bike or eight on that same bus.

01 What is the difference between your Almere-Poort and Almere-Buiten locations?
No difference in approach, team or care, only in place. Poort has been our main practice since 2012 (Beneluxlaan, Poort Kliniek), Buiten since January 2026 (Gezondheidscentrum De Bouwmeester). You're registered at one of the two locations.
02 Does the same team work in Buiten as in Poort?
Yes, the same team rotates between both locations, so you'll see familiar faces everywhere. For dental hygiene and prevention we schedule specific colleagues per location.
03 How easy is it to get here from Almere-Stad?
From the centre of Almere-Stad it's about a twelve-minute drive to our Buiten location via the Hogering. By public transport: bus 153 or a train to Almere Buiten, then a two to four-minute walk.
04 Do you have separate practitioners per location?
No, the team is shared. Our dentists work at both locations; who you see depends on the schedule. When you register you can note a preference for a location or practitioner.
05 Are waiting times for new patients different in Buiten?
In the first months after opening we've reserved room for new patients in Buiten, with an expected wait for a first intake of one to three weeks. For Poort the waiting times are a little longer, two to four weeks.
06 Can children come here too?
Yes. Our Buiten location is fully child-friendly, with the same approach as Poort: welcome from the first tooth, first appointments without treatment if getting used to it helps, and always the option for parents to stay in the treatment room.
