We were here before Almere-Poort really was.
When Amir Aghagalal and Rianne van Vlastuin-Aghagalal opened their practice in the Poort Kliniek in 2012, the neighbourhood was still half building site. The Beneluxlaan had only just been paved, the Cascadepark was a drawing on a notice board, and the people who live in Olympia- and Europakwartier today did not yet know who their new dentist would be.
Starting a practice in a neighbourhood that still had to take shape takes patience. That patience is still here: in how we plan appointments and how we approach an ordinary check-up. We take our time for it.
14 years on, we know the streets and the families here. Children we first saw at the age of three are now sitting their school exams. When you stay in the same place this long, you really get to know your patients' teeth.

The practice

Poort Kliniek.
The Poort Kliniek stands at Beneluxlaan 575, five minutes from the A6. You'll find Tandmere on the first floor of the Poort Kliniek. Several care providers come together here, from GP and pharmacy to physiotherapy and dental care. Trusted care, close to home in Almere Poort. Care under one roof.
The practice is light and spacious, with a waiting area full of daylight, five treatment rooms, a separate reception area and an open sterilisation area. You can reach us by lift or via the stairs. The practice is wheelchair accessible.
What patients usually notice first here: it's quiet. No crowded waiting room, no fluorescent glare, no phone ringing in the background.

The familiar
faces in Poort.
Amir Aghagalal (BIG 69914278402) and Rianne van Vlastuin-Aghagalal founded Tandmere in 2012 and are still the familiar faces of the practice: Amir as one of the lead dentists, Rianne as practice manager for both locations. Some patients have been coming to them for more than ten years.
Alongside them work dentists Nico Hendrickx, Denise Chen and Murtada El-Lari, dental hygienists Dashne and Martina, and a settled team of assistants and reception staff. We rotate between Poort and Buiten, but your own dentist stays your own dentist.

By car
From the A6 Almere Poort exit: five minutes along the Pierre de Coubertinlaan. Free parking in front of the Kliniek, no time limit.

By bike
Bike storage beneath the Kliniek. The Beneluxlaan is the main cycle route through Poort, reachable from every neighbourhood without a big crossing.

Public transport
Bus 327 stops at the door (Beneluxlaan stop). Almere Poort station is a six-minute walk, with a train every fifteen minutes to Amsterdam Zuid, Lelystad and Schiphol.

01 How do I find the right entrance to the Poort Kliniek?
Main entrance on the Beneluxlaan, under the large "Poort Kliniek" sign. Inside, take the lift or stairs to the first floor, then follow the "Tandartspraktijk Tandmere" signs.
02 Is there parking at the Beneluxlaan?
Yes! A free car park directly in front of the Poort Kliniek with around sixty spaces and no time limit. Disabled parking is next to the main entrance.
03 From what age is my child welcome?
From the very first tooth. Most parents combine their child's registration with their own six-monthly check-up, so the child can first get used to the chair in peace.
04 Does the team speak English?
Yes, everyone on the team. For Persian (Farsi) or another language we'll schedule an appointment with the right practitioner on request.
05 Can I call outside opening hours for an emergency?
On weekdays between 08:00 and 17:00 you can reach us on 036 22 22 333. Outside those hours the Mondzorgpoli Almere emergency dental service takes over: call 0900 1515 (€1.50 per call, available day and night) or see mondzorgpoli.nl. Always call first and don't come by without an appointment.
06 What is the difference between Almere-Poort and Almere-Buiten?
No difference in approach, team or care, only in place. Poort has been our main practice since 2012 in the Poort Kliniek on the Beneluxlaan. Almere-Buiten has been our second location since January 2026, in Gezondheidscentrum De Bouwmeester on the M.J. Granpré Molièrestraat. You're registered at one of the two.
